Valentina Cantori è una danzatrice e una performer che attualmente lavora tra Italia e Brasile. Giovanissima intraprende gli studi della danza classica con Maria Luisa Turinetti di Priero e Corrado Canulli (ArteffettoDanza/Trieste) che poi completa a Roma presso il centro di studi Formazione Bartolomei, dove, seguita da Michele Pogliani, consegue il diploma triennale in danza. A Roma lavora in vari progetti (DIA Company e Compagnia Interpretazione Danza) e comincia a studiare teatro. Negli ultimi anni partecipa a numerosi workshop e seminari (Julie Stanzak-Wuppertal Dance Theatre, Ohad Naharin-Batsheva; David Zambrano, Peter Jasko, ecc.) approfondendo diverse tecniche contemporanee (danza contemporanea, teatro danza, teatro fisico, contact improvisation). Nel 2015 si trasferisce a Tel Aviv, dove si avvicina al linguaggio Gaga. Nel 2018 diventa insegnante certificata presso l’ABT®, AMERICAN BALLET THEATER® National Training Curriculum, completando l’ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.
Valentina è laureata in Linguistica e nel 2017 ha concluso il dottorato in Filologia Romanza.

Valentina Cantori is a dancer and performer currently working between Italy and Brazil. From an early age, she undertook ballet studies with Maria Luisa Turinetti of Priero and Corrado Canulli (ArteffettoDanza/Trieste), which she then completed in Rome at the Bartolomei Training Centre, where, followed by Michele Pogliani, she obtained a three-year diploma in dance. In Rome she worked in various projects (DIA Company and Compagnia Interpretazione Danza) and began studying theatre. In the last years she participates in numerous workshops and seminars (Julie Stanzak-Wuppertal Dance Theatre, Ohad Naharin-Batsheva; David Zambrano, Peter Jasko) deepening different contemporary techniques (contemporary dance, dance theatre, physical theatre, contact improvisation). In 2015 she moves to Tel Aviv, where she approaches the Gaga language. In 2018 she became a certified teacher at ABT®, AMERICAN BALLET THEATER® National Training Curriculum, completing the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 3.
Valentina holds a degree in Linguistics and in 2017 she completed a PhD in Romance Philology.
