"Trieste per la danza 2003" is the title of the first edition of a festival of dance for Trieste that Arteffetto will put on Sunday, 14 December , 2003 in Sala Tripcovich at 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 16 December at 9 p.m. at the Teatro Miela with the desire to engage the public with exciting performances that use the ancient but always present language of the body.
The evening of Sunday the 14th in the Sala Tripcovich will be an interesting moment of encounter and engagement between students, adults and children, and teachers from different training centers Triveneto: students of the Vocational Training Centre for Dance "City of Trieste" of Arteffetto Association, will join those of the Cenacolo Arabesquefrom Ronchi dei Legionari, Let's dance from San Vito al Tagliamento, Studiodanza from Maniago, Sipario from Fagagna. The choreography that will range from Ballet to Modern-Jazz, from the Contemporary Dance to Character Dance, will be performed on the music of Pietr Ilich Tchaicovsky, Leo Delibes, Ralf Illenberg, Elvis Presley, Sting, Anton Dvorak ...
The show will take place at Teatro Miela Tuesday, the 16th and it will offer the public a chance for reflection on the national scene of the dance, thanks to fine performances by Michela Barasciutti, refined interpreter of the Venice company “Tocna” paired with Corrado Canulli in the duet from "Magdalena " on original music by Stefano Maria Ricatti. Manuela del Piero, in combination of the voice with the expressive potential of the body, will play "Sissi", a figure very dear to the inhabitants of Trieste; Jorge Annibal Rizzardi and Federica Russolo, from Argentine to Trieste, will present a study about modern theme of freedom interpreting and combining it with their own experience in a musical collage assembled by Francesco Augusto. Sarah Taylor, Laura Antonelli, Emanuela Russo and Claudia Ziliotto will be on stage for the Arteffetto Company: a choreography that changes but maintain the same sequence of steps, on a different musical texture, timbre and rhythmic. Master of ceremonies, Luciano Pasini, committed player in the most recent productions of the Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia, at the end of the evening will take off the clothes of the "good host" to wear again those of tango dancer, in a particular formation of pair .... Different personalities, different nationalities, different styles, with one goal: to dream and let the public dream telling them stories, emotions, fantasies ...
